bridgette > March 24, 2008... I feel so guilty!! I ate one!! I am always getting in trouble for breaking them open to find the one I want! :-) I'm not a big fan of the fruity ones...so I just kept breaking them until I find a caramel!
bridgette > June 2, 2008... The reason I decided to pursue photography was because of my mother's encouragement. She sees the passion in my eyes when I hold my camera! Another magic thing about my mom... her love of flowers and ability to keep them alive! I have really grown to appreciate that about my mom. I have also found that as I watch her and learn...my garden continues to grow! :-) With that said... I chose this as my photo of the day in honor of my mom who continues to be an inspiration to me!

bridgette > May 20, 2008... This one is for my mom... I love you! My mom has been battling ovarian cancer for 10 years. She has fought such a long hard battle and never lets her fear take over. She is a true survivor that shows how remarkable the human spirit is. She has had some set backs over the past few weeks... but continues to remain strong and fight with everything she has. She is mom...she is my hero! Get better soon!
bridgette > July 29, 2008... This was the saddest day of my life! This was the day I buried my mom. She passed away after a 10 year battle with ovarian cancer. I am so fortunate to have had so many wonderful memories with my mom...but that will never change the fact that I will miss her more than words can say. My mom's friends rallied together and set up the function hall at our vacation home. I was left speechless when I saw how many flowers people contributed to make the hall look like something out of Better Homes and Gardens ( my mom loved flowers). I love you Mom...and I miss you!
